adopt, don't shop

How adoption works

Four honest steps. The cat you take home will share your life for years — we want it to be a perfect fit for both of you.

  1. 1

    Meet online

Tell us about yourself with our questionnaire. We'll send videos and talk honestly about the cat's character, likes and dislikes.

  2. 2

    Health check

Before leaving, every cat is tested for FeLV and FIV, dewormed, microchipped, vaccinated and spayed or neutered (cats over six months).

  3. 3

    Passport & travel

Adopting from abroad? We arrange the EU pet passport and the last shot, rabies.

  4. 4

    Welcome home

Your cat arrives with an up-to-date passport and a behavioural note, and we stay in touch for life.

FAQ

Can I adopt if I don't live in Spain?

Yes. Some of our cats have gone to homes abroad — Max, for example, now lives in Germany. We arrange the EU pet passport and the rabies vaccine before travel.

What health checks have the cats had?

All our cats are tested, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and have a health booklet. Cats older than six months are also spayed or neutered. We share their full health history, including any virus detected in them or their siblings.

Why do you ask so many questions?

A cat joins your home for its whole life. We know our cats' characters and want each one to land in a home where it will settle quickly and stay for good.

What does the behavioural note include?

Everything we have learned about the cat: what it likes and dislikes, how it gets on with other cats and people. It shortens the time the cat needs to adapt to its new family.

Is there an adoption fee?

Yes. The adoption fee is €180 per cat, whatever their age. If you adopt two cats together, it's €300 for the pair. The fee helps pay for the care of the next rescue.
